1. I think hes a good man
Kerry is a good man I have my problems about him voting IWR but you look at his record, and you say thats one of our best. Kucinich is a good guy too who proves that a poor guy who works hard can go places plus hes good on issues too. Thats not denying Kerry isnt a good guy or good on issues.

2. I've given Kerry crap from time to time...
but my opinion of him has softened considerably.
I think it was that Vanity Fair pic of he and Teresa, LOL.

3. well said, Pete
I truly respect your decision. Although I'm undecided at this point I must agree that I too will work for the nominee. We must unite.

4. I soooo appreciate a post that...
says good things about why someone supports a candidate instead of the negative ones bashing other's candidates! Thank you!

5. Kerry is indeed a good man.
I am glad you feel this way, that is what it is all about. We will all keep working and we should all feel proud because we have 10 great candidates. Good for you.

6. I agree that John deserves a lot of credit
and a lot less of this idiotic bashing. He's worked all his years in Congress for the Dems and deserves a chance.

12. It seems many trust the new hot populist rhetoric
instead of 30 years of proven GOP battling credentials.

10. No argument from me
I've always admired him. His vote for the resolution didn't bother me either. He was an early and vocal critic when he saw the way the leverage that Bush was given was being abused. Kerry has always been one of the good guys.

13. Amen, brother. Amen.
That is as it should be. Have the courage of your convictions. If you think he's the best man, there is no reason to capitulate now. That's what it is all about.

14. Pete, you know that I appreciate your dedication in working for Kerry
But I'd appreciate your thoughts on being able to resolve the reservations that I have, as an undecided, in supporting him based on what I perceive as complete wishy-washiness on trade issues.

15. I Think Most Of The Canidates Are Good
And I do have a preference, but the bottom line is that I will work and vote for whomever the Democratic Convention chooses.

17. Excellent post!
I have a great deal of respect for Sen. Kerry, and I will support him with a smile on my face and a song in my heart, if he is nominated. I just wish he'd quit working so hard TO get nominated! :P
