Bush Reminds Us That He's "Got a Life to Live"
Forgive me if this has been posted on here already. I looked and couldn't find anything on it.

Anyway, I was so angered today when I came across this latest quote from Bush, justifying his refusal to meet with Cindy Sheehan. Seems he's "got a life to live."

Here is his exact quote about why he won't meet with Cindy Sheehan:

"Whether it be here or in Washington or anywhere else, there's somebody who has got something to say to the president, that's part of the job. And I think it's important for me to be thoughtful and sensitive to those who have got something to say.

But I think it's also important for me to go on with my life, to keep a balanced life ... I think the people want the president to be in a position to make good, crisp decisions and to stay healthy. And part of my being is to be outside exercising. So I'm mindful of what goes on around me. On the other hand, I'm also mindful that I've got a life to live and will do so.''

Well excuse me, Bushie, but Casey Sheehan doesn't have a life to live anymore. Or have you forgotten that?!

1. Dubya's life

  • vacation
  • ride bicycle (and fall off)
  • ride Segway (and fall off - that's supposed to be impossible)
  • eat pretzels (and fall down and go boom)
  • cut brush (get the poor man a wheelbarrow before he hurts himself)
  • go to fundraisers (ignoring moms)

7. I'd rather a balanced mind than a balanced life
I'd prefer good decisions over what he is doing also.

11. I about flipped when I heard this today....
It reminds me of when the first lady said something like: "I can't waste my beautiful brain thinking about all the young men killed in the war."

* can never say anything on his own. When he does it comes out all backwards. * is one arrogant SOB, and I'm happy that I'm free to call him that. I just pray that it stays that way.

13. I responded to this POS
and his latest asinine statement in my blog.

As much as I hate, loathe, detest and despise this man, I still do not think that I hate him as much as my patriotism and humanism demands that I do.

15. "One Life To Live" ... join us for all the pathos and drama
in the daily lives of the residents of the Crawford Ranch. Will Condi ever find true happiness as the "other" woman? Will the stoic wife Laura, trapped in her marriage be able to shed her frousy image and fulfill her ultimate desire of dancing nude on tables at the airport? Will Karl have to take it on the lamb from the Prosecutor obsessed with his incarceration, taking odd jobs and dying his hair, claiming that it was a one-armed man who outed Valeria Plame? Will the Saudi Prince finally knock on George's door asking that he try on the missing shoe he left behind at the masked ball and sweep him off his feet?

Don't miss one exciting episode of the trials and tribulations of this average American family.

the Bush family . . .

the first, of course, being Babs' refusal to contaminate her "beautiful mind" with thoughts of body bags and such . . .

where DO these people get their values???? . . .

19. His duty is to place the country's well being
ahead of his own life. He surrendered his life when he took office. His ass is supposed to now belong to the nation for the duration of his term. If was unwilling to assume that burden, he should have never taken office.

20. Sure Georgie, live your life in complete denial that you've caused
Nearly 2000 American soldiers' deaths and tens of thousands of innocent civilian Iraqis.
