Fair warning to freepers: We are now the good guys. |
|
Edited on Mon Aug-15-05 10:35 PM by Chichiri
The tide has turned. Between Bush's free-falling approval ratings and the now-secure place in history for Cindy Sheehan, the voices of decency, liberalism, peace and progressive values are soon to become, if aren't already, the dominant voice of America. The body has turned its back; the head will soon follow.
My advice: join us while you can. Give yourself a measure of self-respect and dignity by joining your voices to ours now, before it's too late and you find yourself part of a fringe minority. Because there can be no doubt: historians will point to a period of time between now and five years from now and say, "This marks the end of the conservative movement."
Besides: you have a heart, however deeply hidden. So you don't need me to convince you -- you already know I'm right.
Most people look into the mirror at least once per day. Why not turn the person you see there into someone you can respect? If nothing else, if you're a man, it makes shaving so much easier.
Join your voice to ours. Be a shining light for peace. It's not too late.

They have cemented their place in history as narrow minded small people with nothing to contribute to the common good.

4. Sadly I think the ones who would heed your advice |
|
Already did when they turned their vote to Kerry or at least refused to vote for Bush AGAIN.
The ones who would be so ignorant and uneducated and cruel to cast a vote for Bush The Lesser AGAIN are beyond help.

We always have been the good guys. What you are saying is, we are gaining in strength and power over our previous position. You are using the right winger's "lust for power" to get them to play on our side. Problem is, they are not and never will be loyal to the "just cause." They will just hang around till they are able to deceive us into letting them regain power.
