Wow! Cindy Sheehan vowed not to pay her 2004 Income Tax!
What a stand! She wants to take Bush to court over this whole Iraq invasion.

<<snip>>
"My son was killed in 2004. I am not paying my taxes for 2004," Sheehan told an audience of Veterans for Peace. "You killed my son, George Bush, and I don't owe you a penny. ... You give my son back and I'll pay my taxes. Come after me and we'll put this war on trial."

1. If only this could spark another side revolution
If the families of the other deceased hell even wounded because a wounded person is never the same as before all refused to pay federal taxes.

Imagine that headline.

2. Cindy you're not going Corporate on us are you?
Not paying taxes isn't protest woman - it's just a smart business practice.

Thanks for all you're doing Cindy - who knows how many lives will be saved simply by telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

3. Not the approach to take
She won't even get to argue the case. Self-defined vigilante retribution has only been given a pass on a very few occasions. She will not help her credibility with this stance.

It is a bold stance but in my opinion, making public threats of intentionally breaking the law will, instead of moving her image in the direction of a determined righter of wrongs, it will give her more of an appearance of being a radical.

5. If true, nice thought but
Bad move. She Will get creamed in the media for this, and her "cause" will be lost among the bullshit.

Been thinking for a long while with total unnacountability in government, gross malfeasance, criminal neglect, 3 questionable elections, an illegal war based on bogus intelligence. . .what are any of us paying them for?

They've bankrupted our country and enriched themselves and shouldn't we all just save our dough for our kids to pay off the ever burgeoning deficit instead and not pay any further for this all this incompetance and corruption. . .

They're clearly not working for us anymore.

7. Not very smart
There are plenty of other effective ways to protest -- this puts her into the realm of the black and white world of the IRS, a place where publicity of causes is minimal, at best.

10. Not a good move!!!
Sounds like she might be listening to some of the more radical extremists that are protesting with her.

12. I hope she reconsiders. She should pay her taxes.
She doesn't want to keep company with Jeff Gannon. :-)
