so where are clark's 30-40 congressional endorsements?
on sept 17, CoffeePlease1947 started a thread titled, Rumormill Clark to get 30-40 US Congressional endorsements spreading the rumor that Clark would get this enormous number of endorsements "tomorrow".

tomorrow came and went, and the rumor was changed to "next week".

that week has also come and gone. so where are all those endorsements?

1. I wondered the same

Seems the rumor turned out to be false. I have a feeling the rumor here at Du regarding an October "big story" will turn out the same.

2. Buzz
The Buzz has left the Clark camp.

Note, not against Clark, but he has lost a lot of the important "buzz" he has last week. He's in the race now like everyone else.

3. you know what is silly
If these new rules pass tomorrow, in this post you would have had to include what candidate(s) you support, and whether you were "officially" against Clark. Ridiculous.

5. Actually, it's wrose than that - this post wouldn't be allowed at all.
It doesn't refer to a CURRENT EVENT, and thus falls foul of the rules. Perhaps you could argue that the "CURRENT EVENT" aspect of it is the LACK of an EVENT that was supposed to be CURRENT, but should we need lawyers to post on DU?

Should we have to pre-screen our posts with the mods, or beg in those same posts for the mods to interpret the rules in our favour?

Vote NO on the new rules!

6. Go ahead and add me as well.
I'm a dean supporter and my message of support will fall on your deaf ears.

7. It looks like when the facts are laid out on the table....
there emerges serious doubts regarding Clarks democratic committment to the party. He, Clark, needs to demonstrate factual support for the party before the super-delegates take the plunge.

Clarks credentials are impressive but there is so much more needed qualifications for our final Democratic Candidate.

8. I think Clark is a flash in the pan.
His rhetoric sounded to good to be true and his support for the republican party in general and the current bush administration in particular proves that it was.
