Wow she was all over the map, and Tweety just let her fly.

Iraq linked to Al Qaeda?
WMDs may still be found?

Wow!

2. That's right
And GE signs Tweety's paychecks. After the slapping down he got last night from Mrs. Sheehan, he had to do something for his corporate and
political masters, besides being the pivot man in a circle jerk.

Which I hear he does for free, just to show how truly loyal he is!!!

3. follwed by another Iraq vet candidate...
Inexperience clearly showed through, but also, the promise of an articulate and effective (proud democratic) spokesman.

5. I thought he did awful.
I wanted to like him, but the interview was painful. I had to turn it off.

6. He is not a polished politician. (yet)
This may have been his first TV exposure, there certainly seems to be some nervousness there.

And you can tell he was trying to give his memorized speech. but, everyone has to start somewhere.

I saw a measure of confidence. He will be OK with more exposure and experience with speaking in public

7. Please DON'T call it Hardball anymore!
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 06:44 PM by aint_no_life_nowhere
Bernie Ward calls it Whiffleball which is much more appropriate. You could even call it Marshmallow Puff.
