Dear Paul,

Just wanted to touch base with you re your projection of August 18 that the electricity would be back on in Iraq by the end of September. I know you've got a LOT on your plate these days, so here's the quote reported by CNN just FYI:

Despite the attacks, Bremer predicted that electric power in the country formerly ruled with absolute power by Saddam Hussein would be restored to pre-war levels by the end of September.

I know, I don't have to hit you with a 2 X 4 over this, but the Big Guy is all about his "restoring honor and dignitude" thing and we can't afford not to deliver on the selling point--especially with that pack of Liberals yapping all over the media.

Don't mean to put on any extra pressure and I know you'll come through for the team just like you always do. 'Sides, you've got a whole 24 hours to go and talk around the office is that you're a miracle kind of guy. Just wanted to check in with you because this Iraq thing is Job One in the Boss's eyes. Keep me posted!
