LAURA BRAVES WEASEL KISS (NY Post)
so, it's not quite "Headless Corpse In Topless Bar" but thought you might like a glance at NYC journalism at its finest.....

LAURA BRAVES WEASEL KISS

Grim-faced First Lady Laura Bush looks as if she'd rather be anywhere else in the world yesterday as French President Jacques Chirac takes a stab at chivalry by planting a kiss on her hand.

21. Mad Magazine was LIBERAL.
Bill Gaines (RIP) made fun of liberals, too, but the slant of Mad Magazine was, and still is, noticeably to the left.

2. Once upon a time...
...the Post was a lefty paper, like for, oh, the first 177 years of its existence. Then Molech.. err... Murdock came, and there you have it.

8. Maybe she didn't realize that pic was being taken!
As opposed to the Post pic...it's only a photo-op trip, anyway.

Come to think of it, they are in different positions. How many poses of this scene do you think they made?

7. This lady does not look distressed

As a matter of fact, I posted this pic in the lounge last night and a few people commented about how happy she looked. I guess it all depends on your point of view.

13. How pathetic
Do you have to be to send Pickles in to repair international relationships? It's actually quite laughable. She's been kept literally 10 steps behind Whistle Ass and now she's front and center? Desperation politics at its' finest.

They should send her back to the library - she fails miserably at diplomacy and public speaking.
