Does Jerry Springer sometimes make your head spin? |
|
Sometimes I like Jerry, but sometimes his sentence structure is so poor, I am confused about what he is trying to say. I also feel that he oftentimes speaks without having done much research. Anyone else feel the same?

1. I really preferred Jay Marvin |

I would like to see Thom Hartmann in this spot! I can't believe they haven't tried hard to get him, he is IMO, the best!

3. I had to turn him off. |
|
He started his show with some asshole joke about how women shouldn't be told about a new study which noted that added weight on hips and thighs are a sign of health (less chance of heart disease). He made some comments yesterday that made me turn the radio off as well. He was never a favorite, but now I just find him annoying.
I'm now listening to Stephanie Miller for the first time...she's very good by the way.

5. Jerry lost the right to have his opinion heard |
|
the momoment he paid a hooker with a check when he was mayor of Cincinatti...dumbass.
We partially have him to thank for that city's hard right-wing stance.
Listen to Franken or Randi.

It is hard for me to like JS. Even though I agree ideologically, this is the man, remember, who brought trash t.v. to a peak level. He has made his fortune off the backs of poor white/black ignoramus' who preferred to air their ridiculous lives on t.v. while Jerry sat back and spurred the crowd onto chants of "Jerry..Jerry...Jerry".
It is his past exploitation of people that has bothered me.

He is a counter example of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". He uses human misery and tragedy for profit. I don't see why he doesn't just take his camera crew into a mental asylum and start filming.

10. I listened to him in the beginning. |
|
But, his style bores me and he agrees too much with the rightwingers who call him and challenge him on his statements. I know he's trying to reach them, but it gets boring after awhile.
I switched to Stephanie Miller. I need some laughter in the morning.

11. I like the guy who subbed for Jerry while he was on vacation |

I listen to a little of Springer's show in the morning before work (mainly because it's on right after Morning Sedition), but I rarely stay tuned in very long. It often feels (at least in the part of the show I usually catch) more like being on the receiving end of a parental lecture rather than being told about what's going on in the world. I thought Jay Marvin was better.
Edit: It was Jay Marvin, like acmejack said above.
