Crisis Management 101
Let see how the Bushies handle this Wilson mess. if they are smart, (haha) they will continue down the same track and hand them Rove (or whomever the culprit is) on a platter.

The most delightful thing to watch will be the snowballing effect if they begin to stonewall. That in turn will require an independent prosecutor. Who's breadth they will try to limit. A week of that will look like they are hiding more than just Rove on the Wilson matter and it becomes about Iraq in general. This could easily turn into a situation where the cover-up become worse than the crime itself (perjury, subborning perjury, obstruction of justice).

If the IP gets the arrogant brush-off (count on it!) and that goes on for two weeks or more we are going to start hearing calls for impeachment.

Where the Hell is Ken Starr when we need him?

I just hope the Dems do not overplay the inside straight they have been dealt! Worst thing that could happen in my view is that the perception grows that the Dems are trying to make it political. It has to be about the Law and the consitution and the Imperial presidency.
