well hidden in the propaganda leading up to the invasion was the fact that Saddam had women in his cabinet and women held high posts in government. Also hidden was a well-established University System where women were welcome and prominent.
The most well-hidden fact? How about the fact that there was a well-attended Synagogue in downtown Baghdad that operated freely without government interference?
