Can we fire Bill Keller?
I've decided I hate the man. He is taking what was once a fine newspaper and running it into the ground.

We are his audience, not the neocons who perpetually allege liberal bias at the NY Times.

I've already reduced my subscription from every day to just Sunday because of his newspaper's atrocious reporting; its smears of liberal critics; its evil (and fallacious) defense of Judy Miller, etc.

Can we bombard the Board of the NY Times with letters to try to get this man fired? I'm willing to buy stock, if that helps.

1. I cancelled my subscription completely
I went from every day to just weekends to not at all - I'm not paying to be lied to. I still pick it up at the newstand sometimes to read Frank Rich, but they really need to apologize for their part in LYING US INTO WAR. And they need to quit pretending that Judy Miller is a martyr and acknowledge that she is witness to a crime and complicit in the coverup.

3. I only buy it on Krugman days.
(But I do visit their site on-line compulsively.)

2. I gave up on the Times during Whitewater.
I read it religiously when I lived in NYC. Now? - fuggedaboudit!

Their myopic support of that traitor Miller on the phony grounds of journalistic principle is transparent and laughable.

The NYTs - the paper of Tom Freidman, Judy Miller, Jason Blair, David Brooks and Bill Safire until his retirement. What a rogue's gallery!

The Times is good for only two things: 1) fishwrap and 2) movie reviews - if The Times hates it, then it must be good.

4. His defense of Miller is truly puzzling.
(He also picks his nose on camera. With his pinky!)
