Lou Dobbs Lobbying Against America
Lou Dobbs has a commentary on CNN that is some great reading.

He is coining the phrase "corporate supremacists", which is truly
what's going on, corporations discriminating against ordinary Americans.

There's no denying both political parties in Congress are now owned lock, stock and barrel by corporate interests. Our nation's elected officials in Washington have formed a partnership with the corporate supremacists and special interest groups in an effort to drive profits to the bottom line of U.S. multinationals at the expense of hard-working Americans.

Congress over the past few months has all-too-willingly approved corporate-friendly -- and often corporate-written -- transportation and energy bills, as well as so-called bankruptcy reform that further rents the middle class' social safety net. And not surprisingly, there's a serious correlation between the dramatic increase in money spent by special interest groups on lobbying and corporate America's taking over the deed to Capitol Hill.

2. I miss the days when Dobbs would've been considered a conservative.
The opposition used to be reasonable. Nowadays they aren't even sane.

3. Lou Dobbs is a stand up guy, a sane Republican.
He understands that you can't cheat the working classes and have a strong America. The GOP tells the gullible what they want to hear to get elected, then bellies up to a bar giving away unblended scotch with it's corporate...supremacists.

He has quoted Rahm Emmanuel who is trying to slow down the lobbyists' swinging door:

"When the Speaker's gavel comes down, it's intended to open the People's House, and lately it's looking like the Auction House," says Rep. Emanuel, "Whether it's an energy bill that gives more $8 billion to the oil and gas interests while oil's at $64 a barrel, whether it's a corporate tax bill solving a $5 billion problem with a $150 billion solution, whether it's a pharmaceutical, prescription drug bill where the industry gave $132 million and walked away with $135 billion in additional profits."

Thomas Frank describes this in "What's the Matter With Kansas?". Actually, I was surprised at how good that book is. He has endnotes, annotated endnotes. He backs up what he says.

5. What's the Matter with Kansas
It is very good and points out the massive corruption.

While I believe freeperville or more wrought with corruption there certainly is plenty in the Democrat side too.

Cases in point are the bankruptcy bill vote and CAFTA.

6. Yes, and Frank doesn't let the DEMS off either, does he?
They are either clueless or corrupt. Well, we know not all of them, and he does specifically reference the DLC. Howard Dean is a breath of fresh air.

4. Lou Dobbs is the only one on CNN that is not a total GOP tool
I removed CNN FOX and MSNBC from my channel selector along with all those preachers and their painted up whores who panhandle 24/7. My mental health started to noticeably improve by the very next day.

7. I never watch those idiots
I really dislike Anderson Cooper, to me, a complete corporate whore.

All I had to do was see the previews for what looked like a huge propaganda machine gearing up to rip Cindy Sheehan and ya know it ain't for ratings.

I believe only 34% approve of Iraq at this point so who the hell are these biased media people talking too...well, there propaganda puppet masters I'll assume.
