How the hell does Kristinnnnnn Taylor keep ending up in the national news?

Some critics say Sheehan is exploiting her son's death to promote a left-wing agenda. They say scores of Americans, including relatives of soldiers killed in Iraq, support Bush and his plans to keep troops there.

FreeRepublic.com, which holds rallies to support troops and to counter anti-war demonstrations, held a pro-Bush rally Wednesday night with about 20 people at the same time and same Washington park as a candlelight vigil that drew about 300, said Kristinn Taylor, co-leader of the group's Washington, D.C., chapter.

"For us the organizers of the vigil are phony-baloney, betraying the sacrifices that those men and women make in Iraq, by demanding that we pull our troops out now and leave Iraq to go to hell," Taylor said. "This is a publicity stunt."

Gotta love the gigantic response these guys get at their "pro-Bush rallies." Don't you have to have more than 6 people and 4 Porta-Johns to call something a "rally" anyway?

1. He gets some press because of FR's political orientation...
... not because he has anything of substance to say.

M'self, I think the press ought to subtract the number of people guarding the porta-potties from the actual counter-protesters in the final count. :)

3. Um... did they really say "phony-baloney?"
 My grandma used to say that when we were like, 5.

Is 20 people really the best they can do? I mean, look at the hundreds of people in cities all over the country rallying in support of Cindy. And they get 20 freepers.

4. 20 Freepers, which according to my latest brainpower exchange rate...
...is equivalent to roughly 3 normal humans.
