1. Who ELSE would they talk to? |
|
The media does not like this whole thing, and they just want it to go away..of course they will not cover it from any side that does not agree with *². They need access, and without pandering to him, they will lose it.

this story is being reported in hundreds or thousands of newspapers across america. far more people have read about this story than have seen cnn stories. i live in denny the fixer district in illinois and my hometown paper has articles about cindy for days now. cindy`s message is getting out here in middle america.

They dispatched Inside Politics, Capital Gang, & Crossfire (not perfect shows but pretty balanced). Now we have Kira Phillips staring at us with those nancy grace eyes spouting RNC talking points which come with a dozen roses sent from Rove. And Wolf is so ubiquitous now and a RW pimp. Wonder if Ted Turner has remorse about scuttling his baby?

to this article may read the words of:
Carol Berglund, 56, of Madison, had a sign attached to the back of her bicycle reading, "It's time for peace. Stop the war."
"I don't think we ever should have gone there. I think it's immoral to be the starters of a war, to be the aggressors," Berglund said.

I no longer watch CNN or any of the other "spews" channels on a regular basis
the smirky-perky blatherheads with their spinning banter turns my stomach
that they talked to the freepers doesn't surprise me -- most of the stories I surfed through regarding Cindy Sheehan were bent towards "Cindy being manipulated", "Cindy not supporting troops", "Cindy unpatriotic"
the smear and slime campaign is well underway

This is the thing that pisses me off the most about this whole thing. I thought that this was a the "morals and 'family' values" crowd, but they keep trying to pit different members of the family against each other. They keep making a big deal about how the rest of the family doesn't agree with what the mother is doing. Why is the rest of the family's opinion more valid than the mothers? Could it be that she has the balls to speak out about what is going on and not agreee with the dipshit in chief. I am so sick of the media sometimes. I mean isn't there any new news on the Holloway case right now? On our local news a 17 year old girl has gone missing, but she doesn't have blonde hair and isn't the prom queen, so we probably wont have Sean Hannity come and broadcast from up here... Fuck 'em all I say.

11. Even Anderson Cooper was extremely light on support. |
|
Most of his segment broadcast from Camp Casey yesterday was devoted to the anti-Cindy crowd;I would estimate that at around 80%.
He did respond well to a White-House spokes-lady though. She kept trying to draw an equal sign between the Iraq war and 9/11. Anderson pointed out that the 9/11 commission stated that there was NO link. She persisted in her false claim anyway.
