Variety:Ben Affleck to make TV drama about a 2nd American Revolution
Takes place in the not to distant future and involves a band of patriots who seek to restore the Bill of Rights and unify the nation.

Seems like Ben is thinking about us :)

1. Definitely! I've seen him at the Dem Nat'l. Convention in '99 and
"04...(sorry if my dates are off).

I decided to not hate him(I wasn't fond of him), when I saw him on CSpan in the middle of the night, the night before the 2000 elections, fervently campaigning for Gore. I was quite impressed.

Anyone that keeps up with Stevie Wonder in humanistic and democratic activity is ok with me.

2. Same for George Clooney, his new movie is all about bring McCarthy down
and the state of journalism and the difference between crap journalism and real journalism.

His buddy Stephen Sodenburg is doing a bio- pic of Che Guevara starring Benico Del Toro as the revolutionary Che.

I love it! There is a lot to look forward to, artswise.

16. I agree. It was a remarkable directorial debut, and totally underrated.
Sam Rockwell was fantastic as Chuck Barris, too.

17. Agreed Rockwell is very talented, his Zaphod was the best thing about
Hitchhiker's Guide.

6. -
I think he sucks as an actor, but I'd still like to see a show with that premise. Hell, I'd like it to actually happen.

7. America is in dire need of a new 1984/F 451? futuristic type story
I'm just thrilled that he is tackling the topic.

Tell folks about it, shows need buzz to get made.

13. its good modern B horror fare
affleck is a good actor who's been in a lot of shitty (box office not necessarily quality) movies. i always liked him. sucks that he has to go the tv movie route but i'm looking forward to it too.
