So it looks to me like the so-called "Able Danger" nonsense is dead |

Seems this Lt. Col. has been just spreadin hearsay and now admits that his Atta claims are based on "the recollection of others": http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x1711534This guy should be dishonorably discharged now.

Blaming Clinton again and again and again. How come everytime they try to blame a democrat for something it ends up being a absurdly wrong and baseless at best or a flat-out fucking lie at worst?

They are trying to re-kindle the flames of the "blame Clinton" passions. The reason is because they are going to attempt to blame Clinton for the loss in Iraq. As strange as that may sound on the surface, it is in fact true.

The whole thing is turning to rubbish. Iraq is a disaster, the real economists are now revealing their deeper analyses (revealing that the deficits are what's fueling the "growth"), there is an upswing in terror, criminals in the White House, etc., etc., etc.
The only recourse is to energize the base by blaming it on Clinton. Again! No matter that it's all untrue. Gotta do something, i guess. Certainly can't admit blame and that they miscalculated on a monumental basis. The Professor
