You know what pisses me off
outside of dealing with premature ejaculation? Ok, that's for another forum.

When the lunatic RW starts yelling about the leftist groups that support Cindy, why doesn't someone point out the many causes the far right, and yes -- even the RNC -- puts their support behind?

Like this: Election Fraud: Team Bush Paid $8 Million for Dirty Tricks to Suppress Votes - and Tried to Hide It
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/071405B.shtml

and this: Senate Republican Staffer Wrote Memo on Terri Schiavo
http://66.195.16.55/bio900.html

and then there's this: Conservatives Invoke Case in Fund-Raising Campaigns
http://www.truthout.org/cgi-bin/artman/exec/view.cgi/37/9881

can we ever forget this:

Bush's Conspiracy to Riot
http://www.consortiumnews.com/2002/080502a.html

Melanie Morgan and all of her finger-pointing assholes can kiss my entire ass. I'm not even going into detail about their "support" of the people who traveled all the way to Crawford just to yell "I Don't Care" at Cindy.

Finally:

Bush's interrupts Vacation for Schiavo

Bob makes a great point. President Bush was more than willing to interrupt another one of his vacations to jump on a plane, travel thousands of miles to Washington, sign Republican legislation on the Terry Schiavo case and fly thousands of miles back to Crawford all for the circus clowns, but interrupting a bike ride to take a walk down the road to meet with Cindy was just too much " hard work" for him. When it comes to God's Own Circus, the President will move heaven and earth.

1. AMEN to all of that!
Their own institutions that have helped manipulate and massage "reality" have become so ingrained that they're invisible to these whackjobs. What passes for "the establishment" these days is nothing but a cobbling of rightwing think tanks, coalitions, SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS, etc. There is no "objective, non-influenced" version of events anymore.

3. allow me to apologize for my entire gender
about the premature ejaculation thing... Maybe you need an older man. As my funny little honey says, men are undatable before age 30 and unfuckable before age 35. To which I retort, age is not the important factor. Man and woman must be incompatible in order to get along. In that he must have income and she must be patible.

I don't reject conservatism because it is followed by conservatives; I reject poor thinking, at which conservatives seem uniquely expert.

Who was backing the Schiavo family? Every Right Wing Whacko Nut Job organization on the planet, that's who.

21. Sorry for being flip. There is nothing wrong but everything right
with having people support you. What really drew me to support Cindy is that she did this on her own, not as an organized protest, but just herself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having the support of likeminded people.

I try to laugh off the complaining "but such and such is behind her" with the same reasoning I gave someone who said "the thing that bothers me about this protest is that Casey enlisted voluntarily". So what if Cindy is supported by some group, or Casey voluntarily enlisted? Do either of these things mean that Mr.bush should not be held accountable for lying to take us to war with Iraq?

Most of these people are mean people and they piss me off.

Mrs. Sheehan just went on an urge. She felt a calling I think. And many others came to her. Not the other way around like Tom DeLay and Bill Frist with Terri Schavio.

20. I agree.
Well not so much on the first thing, but it also annoys me how the rethug pundits keep spouting off with "far-left groups" and "extremists", yet I heard not one mention of "far-right" groups during the Shiavo case as you mentioned, even though all the ones there were radical-right loonies.

I also gets me every time how these Bushbots love to drop "funded by Soro's money" every chance they get, at the same time they are funded by "Murdoch or Scarfie money".

But perhaps the most disgusting hypocrisy of late is the rethugs accusations that Cindy is exploiting her son and the troops' death. Yet, in the same breath they mention the upcoming anniversary of 9/11 and suggest that by opposing the war we are dishonoring the deaths of those who died that day.

So being anti-war is exploiting the troops death, yet constant mentioning of the 9/11 victims is not?

My head is spinning!

22. Where where THEY?
Edited on Fri Aug-19-05 09:01 PM by SalmonChantedEvening
Every freeper pundit and poster always begin with a fake sympathetic tone, and then proceed to trash Cindy's sanity, honesty and patriotism because, oh horror of horrors, liberal groups have offered their time, money, sympathy and support when she needed it the most. What did they do?

One word answer: nothing. But it's worse than that, which should surprise no one. They waited. They watched. And they did NOTHING because they a) weren't going to help her anyway and b) couldn't trash her. Yet. Then along came the left. Doing what they REFUSED to do. Help. And stand up for her cause.

When she became an embarassment to the Boy King, the time honored formula went in to action. Smear by association. Find anyone she knows or she's related to that disagrees with her. Trumpet them. Smear her by association with the same tired bogeymen.

MoveOn, Michael Moore and DU, OH MY!

And as with John McCain, John Kerry, Ann Richards, Al Gore and others before them, trot out lil George to say 'mah ponent iz honrable' to appear above the fray, and let his stooges and thugs trash Cindy while he rides his bike and goes to BBQ's. Capone would be proud. It had always worked before hadn't it? Why shouldn't it work now?

Here's why. Cindy stood her ground. She isn't backing down and she IS NOT GOING AWAY. It worked before, but not this time, George, Karl, Rush and the rest of you. She's better than you. You know it and you can't change it. It just won't work.

NOT THIS TIME!
NOT THIS TIME!
NOT THIS TIME!

25. Where did I say we shouldn't have them?
What I was saying is that the same tired formula is in place and that those doing the attacking, who complain about our friends, never lifted a finger to come to Cindy's defense, then damn her for getting that support.

While they did nothing.

And that this time, that tactic won't work.
