1. Outrageous
How is it that the world, particulary the Arab world, has acquiesed to the occupation of and subsequent corporate free-for-all in Iraq?

Is it that we're such a large oil customer that they can't afford to offend us?

4. Because it was obviously planned by ChimpCo beforehand to profit from the
MURDER of thousands of Iraqis and the destruction of their country by us!!! Just how noble an act is it to rebuild a country that you yourself destroyed for no reason - other than to profit by rebuilding it??!!! This is Hitler type logic and it is simply monstrous!!!

5. I disagree
I think removing Saddam was a great thing. Done under the wrong adminstration perhaps, but I'm always for removing oppressive, dictatorial regimes and wish we'd do it more often for the RIGHT reasons...

In my view, business development in Iraq is a great thing. Their economy has been in shambles for years under Saddam..

6. Removing Saddam was no more OUR right - then Iraqis removing Bush
And it created a dangerous power void - which has already lead to chaos and may well lead to a full scale civil war. And most importantly - THOUSANDS of innocent people were murdered by our invading force - and that is unforgiveable!! And one more thing: Iraq's economy has been in shables since the Bush the Elder thug attacked and installed crippling sanctions after we set them up to invade Kuwait!!!

I disagree with you and think the following:

-> it hasn't created a dangerous power void, it has created opportunity and hope for the people of Iraq. it was done under the 'wrong' theories, but I'm the kind of person that believes that the end result we are at today and will be at, is better than what was going on there.

-> thousands more were killed, and would have continued to be killed, under Saddam. He was a brutal dictator, and I'm glad he is gone. I believe that the Iraqi people are glad he is gone, and that the country will be better off without Saddam.

-> I agree Bush the elder put the economy of Iraq into shambles, and the administrations since then continued it. And now that economy can prosper again.

IMO, the Iraqi people are better off, and the future is, IMO, a lot brighter for the people of Iraq then under Saddam.

As to your "we had no right to remove Saddam", perhaps you are correct there, I'm not a legal expert. I'm looking at the human factor, and how the human side of this is much better for the Iraqi people.

8. Turn off Fox News
and maybe take a tour of Iraq - they HATE us which is why they are killing our soldiers - we've created a new army of Iraqi's who hate us and will hate us - if they live long enough too. If our bombs and guns haven't killed them the depleted uranium in those bombs will kill them for many years to come - not to speak of the 6,000+ soldiers who have been sent home sick. You sir, are quite naive and your head in the sand theories are what is going to destory America.

10. no head in sand
I have read a lot on Saddam and his treatment of his people. He was a brutal dictator and the people are much better off, your "rebuttal" is just more of the same I hear on this board about how the Iraqi people are not better off, and I completely disagree with your view.

and, btw, when did you get back from Iraq and how long was your trip?
