Homosexual marriage will lead to mono-gloved marriage
Edited on Sat Aug-20-05 11:16 AM by Proud2BAmurkin
Roberts is a fucking lunatic.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/19/AR2005081901801_pf.html

Last week, researchers found several memos from the summer and fall of 1984 in which future Supreme Court nominee John Roberts, working as a Reagan White House lawyer, argued against sending presidential thank-you notes to Michael Jackson for his charitable works. But it turns out this was just the beginning of what appears to be the young lawyer's concerns about the star. Three new memos uncovered by Post reporters show Roberts described Jackson as "androgynous," "mono-gloved" and a balladeer of illegitimacy.

2. doesn't it EVER occur to the lieberman's or clinton's
of the world that some people might spend a tad too much time thinking about certain things?

i mean that is pretty fuckin freaky -- what do some of these freakoids do all day -- have furious wank sessions over sex other people are having?

i just gave myself the shivers.

3. I'm begining to think his nomination might not be inevitable
Liberals hate him.

Conservatives hate him.

I think he might lose an up-or-down vote.

6. For Political Reasons he Makes All That Nominate Him

4. The republicans are the biggest perverts of all...
I mean, those people can't HELP but think about sex... all the time! I often find the most staunch republicans and the most fervent born-agains have a common thread, they are obsessed with sex. Perhaps they think that by having that Ken doll hair and corny clothes, and surrounding themselves with a flag or bible will help them ward off the sex faeries.

Mono gloved?

Roberts is a fright!!! He does NOT belong on the high court. Wonder if Bush bothered vetting this freak before he started grooming him for the job.

7. Oh, Bush vetted him
You know he did.

He was looking for a whackjob no one knew anything about. Someone like Priscilla Owens was out because everyone in America knows she's nuttier than squirrel turds and really far to the right. But Roberts? He was only on the bench two years, he has no paper trail...guess he shouldn't have picked a former deputy to the solicitor general, huh?

Back to the comment about sex. PBD, you are so very right; the people who think most about sex are fundies. Who thinks the most about gay sex? Oh...Fred Phelps. Gay men don't spend as much time thinking about gay sex as Phelps does. (All you gay men check in here: do you spend as much time thinking about gay sex as Fred Phelps does? And if you do, how do you find time to work and buy food?)

13. He Brags about Never Having Studied Journalism
Plus the cheap bastard's donation was what he would have charged his alma mater as a speaking fee---you can't miss what never entered your pocket.

And I realize that his being married to Lynn for 30 years doesn't prove anything, but...

*******QUOTE*******

http://www.buffalo.edu/UBT/UBT-archives/25_ubtw04/alumni_profiles/

.... "It's not as if journalism was a lifelong goal of mine. I did not work for the Spectrum. I did not work for the UB radio station. I never took any journalism courses either in undergraduate or graduate school. I just sort of fell into it after graduate school and, to my amazement, I discovered I had a knack for it." ....

His most recent donation is the gift of his speaking fee to UB's new Institute for Jewish Thought, an interdisciplinary center for the study of Jewish intellectual history. The gift will endow a lecture series at the institute to honor his late father, David Blitzer. Wolf Blitzer's wife of 30 years, Lynn, and his mother, Cesia, were in attendance. ....

15. And yet Roberts has a history of cross-dressing ...
... well, OK, so it was to play the part of Peppermint Patti in an all-boys school production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," but it still raises eye brows.
