Troop Supporters! Help Our Military Find New Recruits
TO: Crawford-Area Military Recruiters

United States Government - Army National Guard Recruiting OFC
8502 Airport Road, Temple, TX 76502
(254) 778-5564
(254) 771-4563 (fax)

Dear Crawford-area Military Recruiters:

Have I got a tip for you.

There’s a flotilla of potential coming your way. Head down to Crawford next Saturday, August 27, and BINGO! Sign ‘em up! Just look for this really catchy slogan, ‘You don’t speak for me Cindy tour’, on the signs. (Now, some of ‘em folks is coming all the way from San Francisco, but I assure you that if they are homo-sexuals, they’ll be the last to admit it. That’s still all good with you folks, right?)

Here’s where you need to go:

Saturday August 27, 2005

8:00-9:30am En Route to Waco
10:00-12:00pm Talk shows and meet up for caravan
11:35am Meet supporters at WalMart parking lot at the intersection of I-35 and Lake Shore.
11:55/12:00noon Caravan then continues on to Crawford, Texas!
1:00-3:00 “We Support Our Troops AND Their Mission” Rally
Rally Location: “Crawford Community Center” near the High School - East 4th Street off of Lonestar Parkway

Okay, so get your sign-up sheets ready and a crapload of pens. You’ll all feel right at home in the WalMart parking lot. With all those war supporters, you’re bound to DOUBLE the August recruitment goal!

Right?

Sincerely, very sincerely,

Wheezy.

4. Uppity! I was hoping somebody would post those
Last week was totally untenable for me so I'm Looking REALLY HARD at how to get there this week. I just got a free ream of recycled paper, I may have to print up a few dozen of those and bring them along for any healthy and capable freeps that invade my personal space.

I do custom buttons too. Do you have any requests?

8. I'll be handing those out to college republicans this fall,
and posting them on bulletin boards with a sign that says, "College Republicans Support our Troops. Enlist TODAY!" :)

5. thanks for the nomination!
I wrote this as satire, but you know...having that application available is not such a bad idea.

3. LOL Sounds like a plan to me
Maybe if they're told they can dress up like this, they'll enlist:

Every last one of them should sign up and let our brave troops come home where they belong. Let the crusaders go in there, instead.

7. One more nomination. I think the hawks should put their asses where
their mouths are. In Iraq.

However, if there is a draft, and my kids are 27...so it's dodgy at best if they'd be called up, they'll be living in cool and free Canada if I have anything to say about it.

10. Thanks all
Four nominations so far...just need one more.

How do the repubs explain away the current recruitment problem, anyway? I'm sure they've got quite a spin.
