U.S. moves to counter Chavez-backed Telesur T.V..

The U.S. Congress has decided to fund broadcasts into Venezuala, similar to efforts in the Arab world, to neutralize Telesur's anti-American and anti-freedom rhetoric. Venezuala's President, for his part, has promised to wage a 'merciless electronic war against the United States'.
