Here we go with the ICF (It's Clinton's Fault) s**t, co-workers said it!
I was wondering when the It's Clinton's Fault mantra was going to start worming its way upwards in regards to the Wilson/Novak/CIA operative leak. I bet my mother that I would hear it by today, and, by golly, I won!

Couple of co-workers bitching and moaning in their coffee about how bad this whole thing makes poor little Georgie look, that the media was making a big deal out of nothing, that they were scapegoating poor little abused, neglected, misunderstood, misunderestimated Georgie, that what Clinton did was far worse, blahblahblah, ad nauseaum, the usual wingnut talking points. Then, one of them mentioned that you could really put the blame more on Clinton than anyone else, since he caused an "anything goes" culture in the government, which then caused many federal workers to not have any qualms about violating ethics, and to not fear any consequences since Clinton wasn't impeached. AAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!

Well, I still have my job since I managed to keep my cool and pretend I hadn't heard anything. Because, if I'd said anything, I knew I would have lost it and would have gotten in trouble for it. But, good Lord, people, can you BELIEVE this shit? Can you BELIEVE the lengths people will go to to defend Shrub and their hatred of Clinton? I mean, I know it's probably been years since they took logic classes, but for Christ's sake, COME ON!!! How blind, dumb, and clueless can people be? God, I need a good stiff drink now, preferably an entire bottle of White Zinfandel (which, to me, IS a stiff drink, lol)!

9. Always Blame Clinton-
That's a good one! And that's exactly what they do, I think it's programmed into them from the womb.

13. The party of personal responsibility.
"If you're poor it's your own fault."

"If we do anything wrong it's Clinton's fault."

2. I heard a caller to C-SPAN say
Everything is Hillary's fault because she is travelling all over the world and probably met with Saddam. Boy, those Clintons are amazing people to be able to do everything they do.

6. I HEARD THAT CALL TOO
She started by telling Joe Wilson "well you don't look honest to me". It was hilarious.

14. Fifty years from now when
the Clintons are long gone and cold in their graves, everything will STILL be their fault, and they'll STILL be blamed for everything!

10. Yes, and I guess the Bush admin. people, aka Rove,
were too "weak" to fight that culture and just had to succumb. Those arguments are so bad they make me laugh out loud. Yeah, everyone else in government was perfect before Clinton came along. :eyes:

5. Those People Need More of a REality Check
I don't think most of Dubya's duped dittohead posse are in a position to wise up until they find themselves living on short rations in shanty towns with gold star banners for their children killed in Republican foreign wars as their sole wall decorations.

I hate to say this about my fellow Americans, but we're proving not much wiser than the Germans who supported Hitler well into World War II, the Soviets who continued to support the Soviet Communist Party into the 1970's, or the poor souls living North of the 38th Parallel who support their "Dear Leader" Kim Jong Il.

12. That's EXACTLY how I feel, and have
felt since the Bushista Cabal's Great Takeover. I'm feeling more and more like Donald Sutherland in Invasion of the Body Snatchers, trying desperately to get people to realize what was going on without them thinking he was crazy.

11. Well, at least they've stopped blaming the Roosevelts
which means that the Clintons rank right up there as another of the great Presidential pairings our country has been blessed with. And all without having to steal an election, or brainwash dittoheads, or suborn the Supreme Court!

since balderdash is the norm....attribute some real silly stuff to their main liar....
before you know it, they're attacking media bullshit (ot people actually believe a major news network would say Clinton involved in JFK murder!!!) but even these knuckledragging oddballs know when a lie can't float! (see, Bill's afraid of guns!)

surprised is there were, indeed, a few stray mega-wingnuts who would actually believe that Clinton had a hand in the JFK assassination!

23. Unbelieveable. I heard something today that's just as bad.
A co-worker and I were talking about the California debacle and in the midst of the conversation he said something like he doesn't understand why Arnold is a republican but he thought that since Arnold started out as a body builder and made a ton of movies, he is now a millionaire. My co-worker also said that since republicans tend to work hard for what they earn that must be why he is a republican and that democrats always say that you should be given this even though you didn't earn it.

I was so surprised at what he said that I couldn't say anything, I just changed the subject. In other words, he apparently believes the democrats are lazy, welfare recipients that are always looking for handouts. He didn't say it in those words but that is what I took it as. The only silver lining in this conversation was that he didn't claim to be a democrat or a republican and that since Bush* has screwed everything up he will not vote republican in 2004.
