2. The US doesn't require reporting of CJD.

Also, there is no incentive to perform autopsies on suspected CJD cases. Few labs want these cases around, because if it turns out that there is infectious matter in the samples, there's no way to clean it up.

It's just easier to call it Alzheimer's and skip the tests.

4. If it was that easy I would've already found it.
I'm thinking either they don't put out current statistics or they don't even keep track of it in the US.

6. Are you searching for PML?
The JC virus is the causative agent or Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML). Since it's an AIDS defining opportunistic infection, and rates are rising, the odds are that the virus remains latent until the immune system collapses. Many cases are probably being written of as Alzheimers or dementia.

"However, detection of JC virus antigen or genomic material is not diagnostic of PML unless accompanied by characteristic pathologic changes, since both antigen and genomic material can be found in the brains of normal patients. Between 80 and 90 percent of the population is seropositive for JC virus by middle adult life. Virus may remain latent in brain or other tissues and be reactivated during immunosuppression. PML also may result from primary exposure to JC virus in an immunocompromised host, since 10 to 20 percent of individuals are seronegative at the time of disease diagnosis. As discussed above, PCR amplification of JC virus DNA from CSF appears to be a promising new diagnostic tool."

By Adam Tanner

CROW AGENCY, Montana (Reuters) - Montana's governor, who has fought the importation of young Canadian cattle, on Saturday said U.S. states need to oversee federal inspectors of Canadian beef because the U.S. Department of Agriculture is acting in the interest of beef companies.

"A few years ago, the four big meat companies, they expanded their role in this country. They bought a U.S. company called the United States Department of Agriculture," Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer said in an interview. "They are a bunch of stooges."

"The USDA crawled right into bed with them (the meat companies) and they run our internal policy and our international (beef) policy," Schweitzer said.

Schweitzer, a Democrat in a majority Republican state, has led a state fight against imports of Canadian cattle under 30 months of age after a federal appeals court lifted a two-year ban on Canadian cattle in July.

7. go to the maddeer.org site.. the beef industry bought up all Mad Cow sites
http://www.maddeer.org there are links there about all the CJD being covered up..

some researchers went to care homes for Alzheimer's patients and gave them blood tests.. 12% to 16% actually had CJD. the patients that waste away quickly have CJD/CWD.. but are recorded as Alzheimer's.

there is a link there .. i think it is www.organicconsumers.org is good and the research folder to the left..

lot of info there, read about the RED ZONE.. downer cows are fed to mink farms, the mink escape and infect the wild deer herds and now the deer are infecting the grazing cows

Prion diseased animals can be cremated at 1800*F and the ashes if fed to animals of the same species will come down with the disease, and prions can cross species in 4 generations.

this is a RED HOT TOPIC that can tear apart the beef industry and the Government for hiding it..

the government made the suppliers of public elementary special subsidies and allowed them to feed downed cows to our children in public schools to maximize their profits.... downed/downer cows are animals that are too sick to walk on their own into the slaughter house.. but they prod them up with electrified wands and they fall down again and they do this till they fall down in the slaughter house.. i have seen it done.

the e-coli epidemic seems to have started in Modesto California, they had pictures of fork lifts carrying in the sick animils.. some were gored with the lift forks forcing fecal material into the meat.. it was from meat shipped from there that the e-coli deaths started happening... it was probably just the about the time that feeding the lnimals antibiotic in their food that that morphed the bacteria..and not just that isolated incedent.. they started doing that about then.

11. Great Stuff! Thanks!
maddeer.org was started on March 16, 2002 spurred by the finding of Chronic Wasting Disease in the wild deer of Wisconsin by our friends at the DNR.
Warning: This site contains subjects most people find disturbing. Don't take in too much at one time.
