Will Rove be executed as a traitor? |
|
It seems to me that someone has committed a traitorous act of treason - direct purposeful interference with intelligence operations during wartime.
Clearly if there was ever a case for the death penalty, this is one.
I have a hunch that if the real truth does come out in the matter, Mr. Rove and the other leaker(s) will have earned themselves death by lethal injection.
Does anyone else see this as a distinct possibility?
Will he be able to choose firing squad or is that only in Utah?

Bush will grant them a full pardon and then allow them to continue as his personal advisors, because he "still trusts them".
remember the fall-out from the "16 words" (what fall-out???)

4. Yeah, that wouldn't give the Democrats more ammo than |

the Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

3. Mr. Rove isn't going anywhere |
|
He won't be taking the fall, and neither will Ms. Rice.
Sorry to disillusion you. The days of Watergate are over. The Clintons are not in the WHouse. Rove will be assisting Commander Bunnypants long after someone else takes the bullet for this one.

5. I think you're underestimating the administration's |
|
ability to spin anything.
A lot of horrible, illegal things have been done by this (mis)administration and they've managed to come out smelling like roses. Each time, however, they lose a few of the "faithful." At least that's how I see it. Bush may lose in 2004. I hope he does, but he and Rove and the rest will never pay for what they've done.

7. This issue will not come down to public perception. |
|
The CIA will continue to drive this issue until the person responsible pays.

is if the CIA chooses to indulge in a little 'wet work'.

People get executed for a lot of different things, but the officials who risked the lives of CIA operatives and American citizens probably won't even get jail time.
