Anybody going to watch CNN show on bad intelligence?
It's almost on, starts at 8pm EST. It's going to be interesting to see just how they'll handle it. I'd start a betting pool, but not enough time.

2. Not expecting much
I figure it will be an hour explaining how our honest straight - shooter of a President was fooled by liberal elements in the intelligence community.

4. i told my mother to watch it
she said there was a preview on arron brown last night and it looks like their only going to go as far as to say that the intelligence was there but bad, but that was still the premise for the war. I'd lay real money that DSM doesn't get mentioned. they won't even hint that Bush had designs on Iraq before the UN inspections. my prediction. any takers?

5. were fucked
CNN is going to play like they're trying to take the government to task but they're just going to reinforce that it wasn't bush's fault he got bad intel.

6. It's already more lies and bullshit.
For some reason, the "most trusted source" is complicit in perpetuating the "bad intel" line.

WHY THE CIA THINKS BUSH IS WRONG
The president says the US has to act now against Iraq. The trouble is, his own security services don't agree.

The letter also comes at a time when the CIA is competing with the more hawkish Pentagon, which is also supplying the White House with intelligence on the Iraqi threat.
