Are we going to be spreading Freedom to Venezuela soon?
I'm reading about Chavez telling Rummy, basically, to stuff his comments up his ass, while standing next to the only commie boogyman left, the evil Fidel Castro. A man so evil we've ignored him for 30 years, but still makes sheeple quake with fear.

I really, really don't want to spread freedom and democracy in Venezula.

how the Bush corporate cabal had made "spreading freedom" a synonym with "conquering."

2. We Couldn't Unless We Dipped Deep Into The Strategic Petroleum Reserve
They supply a great deal of our oil, something around 20% if I remember correctly (may be off a good bit on that).

3. Yes. I don't understand why God keeps putting mean people
in charge of our oil. First, he puts in a sandy, nasty place where people hate our freedoms, and he puts mean commies in charge of out oil.

Why does God hate America? Traitor.

8. About 8% Of Total Consumption, 13% Of Imports

Remember, though, that the 73 shock was a 10% shortfall that resulted in a 4x increase in oil prices.

In other words, $10.00/gal gas.

4. Heck, even Sen Arlen Specter is asking Rummy to STFU
Specter meets with Hugo Chavez, tells Rummy to STFU

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/8/19/234238/730

In an astonishing watershed event, (this is not a joke post), Sen. Arlen Specter has gone to Venezuela and met with Bush nemesis Hugo Chavez, and told Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to knock off the hostile remarks about Chavez:

U.S. Republican Senator Arlen Specter urged U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld to put a stop on negative comments about Venezuela at a time in which the U.S. State Department is trying to resolve the recent controversy between the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Venezuelan anti-narcotics officials.

OIL WARS

EPISODE III

REVENGE OF THE HICK

It is a dark time for the free world. Sinister operatives within the CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY have staged a shocking incident, shifting blame onto the oil-producing country of VENEZUELA.

His hunger for reserves all but insatiable, PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH, leader of the evil AMERICAN EMPIRE, demands that swift retaliation be made against the peaceful country.

As the cries for vengeance intensify, populist leader HUGO CHAVEZ calls for a summit, desperate to win the peace and bring economic justice to all of Latin America...

6. the odds of the SCO retaliating are too high

If Venezuela stood alone we'd already be militarily occupying them. The neocons don't want to be fighting Russia and China man-to-man.

ON EDIT: Observers like Iran and India, and other participants like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzistan, and Tajikistan would probably likewise all chip in. And probably Brazil and Ecuador likewise.
