All of Bush's propaganda is backfiring.
OK. Let's see.

1. Idolizing the military - This move is going to make him look like an idiot if he ever faces Clark or Kerry, especially Clark.
2. Using military terms all the time like "treason" and "the enemy" - Now the Democrats will be able throw all this in his face with the CIA scandal.
3. Flight suit - Enough said.

Got any other ones?

1. You're either with us or against us
We reserve the right to hold people in a brig without a trial.

we are not going to let terrorists use our laws to harm us.

They hate us for our freedoms

please don't...nevermind that one could be misinterpreted

3. The Republican convention in NYC should be fun.
Evoking 9/11 in a city full of seriously p*ssed off New Yorkers might backfire just a little bit. ;-)

They have compromised our national security.

They don't have an energy policy.

7. I want Clark strictly for the commercials
I can't wait for their to be a Clark vs. Bush GI Joe set - a new generation of young boys learning to side with the Democrats :)

I can't wait for the commericals of Bush in his flightsuit contrasted with Clark in his actual uniform, you know, the one they issue you when you serve your country?

Strictly as a spectator sport Bush vs. Clark will be so gratifing on so many levels.

As a politician Clark leaves much to be desired, but so far he seems as progressive and populist as any of the candidates, better than Lieberman for sure.

8. "Coalition of the Willing" and "The UN is Irrelevant"
If the UN is so irrelevant, then why is he asking them for money and troops?

Why is he asking the UN and Americans for $87 BILLION dollars$ and more troops? Why cant he ask the "Coalition of the Willing" instead???

DEMS need to harp on these talking points- most Americans/voters believed we had some sort of international support in Iraq...

10. The War on Terrorism will last a long time
Americans have short attention spans and grow weary of the never-ending war on terrorism. It's one of those "concept" wars.
