PHOTOS: Joan Baez "All the weary mothers of the earth"
Folk music legend Joan Baez concertizes and meets military mothers at an anti-war protest camp near U.S. President George W. Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, August 21, 2005.

All the weary mothers of the earth will finally rest
We will take their babies in our arms and do our best
When the sun is low upon the field
To love and music they will yield
And the weary mothers of the earth shall rest

And the farmer on his tractor and beside his plow
Will stand there in confusion as we wet his brow
With the tears of all the businessmen
Who see what they have done to him
And the weary farmers of the earth shall rest

And the aching workers of the world again shall sing
These words in mighty choruses to all will bring
"We shall no longer be the poor
For no one owns us anymore"
And the workers of the world again shall sing

And when the soldiers burn their uniforms in every land
The foxholes at the borders will be left unmanned
General, when you come for the review
The troops will have forgotten you
And the men and women of the earth shall rest

6. Great pics.. Men start wars...women END them
Too bad the women of the world can't get more clout..That's probably the main reason that feminism and women's rights are fought so desperately by men all over the planet.. If the women take charge, thir little "war-game shit" is OVER.

(yes I DO know that some women leaders HAVE been war-like, but the NORM is where women are the peacemakers..the conflict resolvers)

7. yes, especially the mothers in Iraq
The mothers of America may have suffered, but the mothers of Iraq have suffered far worse.
