What's the smear from the RW and WH about CNN's "Dead Wrong" ? |
|
I am sure it's furious and horrible. For those of you just tuning in, "Dead Wrong" was on last night and exposed many facts about Bushco and Iraq.

3. I don't know why there would be one. |

The premise of "Dead Wrong" -- that there was an "intelligence failure" -- is one of essential agreement with the Right. I (and probably most on the Left) would challenge that the main problem wasn't a failure of intelligence but, to put it frankly, lying.

4. Imperialists casting for a crew, neocon's found a killer for hire |
|
and their propaganda lies are not an intelligence failure, imo. It had been obvious to those willing to seek the truth about Hussein, about Al Qaeda, about WMD, about PNAC, about all the standing plans to kill and invade and occupy. The U.S. has over 300 MILITARY "bases" outside the U.S. for this very purpose. Just what is the new world order all about anyway, FREEDOM for the 3rd world people that possess OIL or CHEAP LABOR or industrial age raw minerals, materials and commodities? Someone's not listening, again. Dogs are biting 68 year old women and cops are using TASERs on people laying on their backs on the ground. This is not a failure to communicate, it's a well oiled machine of the neocon plague.

7. I haven't heard much yet. |
|
But it's early.
I don't think bush's 5 day excursion to drum up support for the war is coincidental to the airing of the documentary.
Two other recommended sources: Uncovered: The Whole Truth Behind the War in Iraq. Probably at your local Blockbuster Video. Plus the book The WMD Mirage. 600+ pages and should be required reading fror every American. Neither really sheds light on anything we dont't already know, but they're both good, along with the CNN special.
The neocons have until recently gotten good mileage out of their "bush was just acting on intelligence that he thought was accurate" defense, but it's really starting to unravel to the masses...

9. Someone said it's supposed to re-air on Aug. 27 but I don't have |
|
details.
I saw it, but wasn't paying 100% attention, and was very impressed. It went a LOT further than I would ever have dreamed. Worth seeing (and probably taping), fer shure.
