Did the CNN special last night talk about OSP and PNAC?
I missed the show last night, I hope to catch it when they run it again next week. What I was wondering was if they mentioned the Office of Special Plans and the PNAC and what their involvement was in starting Bush's war.

2. No mention of PNAC...but
They brought up that damning sentence in the Downing street minutes and the White House Iraqi Group (WHIG) that hyped up and lied about the intelligence on WMD.

3. OSP indirectly
From what I saw and if IIRC, it was a mention and not really detailed. It spent maybe two to three minutes saying Rumsfeld created his own intelligence group inside the Pentagon. I don't recall they reported that it was called the OSP, but could be wrong on that.

No mention of PNAC.

4. They didn't mention the DSM, either...
but, judging from a comment made about Rand Beers, the film was made before the election. The comment was that he was going to campaign for the Democratic Party after he retired.

Despite all the blaring omissions of important information, the film is still excellent when you consider that this information has been hidden by the media up until now. Many viewers -- & I hope there were many -- may be learning this for the first time.

It wasn't as blistering as Fahrenheit 9-11, but it was still potent information. Too bad it wasn't run before the election.
