Before you party hardy, look at today's Rasmussen:
Bush--48% approve, 51% disapprove. That's 12 points higher than ARG.

What's going on?

7. no, the numbers are real, but when you use a GOP voting list to poll
you tend to get the kind of numbers that Rass gets.

Given that bit of insight, the numbers are still impressive.

than any other poll. It was the last one where he clung to the 50% plus.

Whose is more "Accurate"?

11. Keep in mind that...
... the ARG poll is economics-based. Rasmussen includes political questions.

The import of that is that people vote their pocketbooks, inevitably, and the ARG poll clearly shows that there's a two-tiered economy out there. The people doing well and predisposed to believe Bush is responsible for their economic health are only about one-third of likely voters. That's dramatic.

So, there are still a goodly number of poor souls out there, according to Rasmussen, that cling to the belief that Bush is fightin' terrists and is keepin' `em safe. But, according to ARG, they don't believe the hype about the economy, because they can see the effects in their wallets.

Cheers.

12. Maybe the question goes like this
"Some say it it unpatriotic and anti American to criticize the President in time of war, do you Approve or Disapprove of President Bush?"
