This is UNACCEPTABLE! WTF is going on with these war criminals?
Edited on Mon Aug-22-05 06:01 PM by fooj
It will probably be at least 2015 before the replacement choppers are deployed, he said. But the service life of a Super Stallion is 6,120 hours in operation, and current estimates are that the Corps will have to start parking about 15 copters a year in 2010.

That leaves five years in which the Marines' fleet of heavy lift helicopters will dwindle before replacements start coming into service.

How will they fill the gap?

"Ask me when we get there," Milliman said. "We will cover it somehow. I know we've got great minds working on it."

6. It's going to Halliburton for bad food,
contractor security, construction jobs that are barely started, bribery, neocon retirement programs, and some is just, plain, "lost".

2. Paraphrasing RummyDummy,
"going to war with the military you have, not the one you want or wish you had".

The Hague may be too good for the bastards.

8. We owe our troops more than this BS they are being fed...
We are Americans, damnit! This shit has got to stop! Where the hell are our "elected" officials? OMG! I am sick about this.

This is not about fucking politics anymore. This is about the honor, integrity and most importantly, the well-being of our beloved country. This is about our troops in harms way! These evil, maniacal madmen have taken over our government and are trying to destroy the very fabric of our Republic. These imposters have an agenda and patriotism isn't on it. I won't cower to these ratbastards. They have unlawfully occupied OUR HOUSE. This is our Country, damnit! America is our home. It is our responsibility to protect and defend it in times of crisis. So...

Let's start screaming!!!!!

The men and women in our military deserve no less!!!

peace.

11. I wonder where the defense budget went
Maybe it went to Blackwater and the black budget. It sure as hell didn't go to the military proper, unless it's all being spent inside our borders (which it doesn't appear to be).

Odds are they're looting half and building private mercenary armies with the other half.

19. And they blamed Clinton for the military being in a shambles.
Clinton didn't have a big problem getting enough people to enlist or reenlist in the service. Clinton didn't extend anyone's duty in a combat zone, or refuse to let someone out of the military when their time was up. Clinton left the GOPers a good enough military, to win two wars. Clinton didn't need to torture people, or to commit war crimes! The terrorists didn't kill 3,000 American citizens, because Clinton was too ignorant and cowardly, to scramble the fighter planes on 9/11. Clinton never invaded any country because of faulty Intel. Clinton never had a steady stream of body bags and crippled up soldiers coming to the US every NIGHT. Clinton wasn't too busy to go to a dead GIs funeral, or to meet with the grieving mothers of the soldiers KIA, on his watch. Clinton didn't make the military stop what they were doing and come to a photo op where they were told to applaud the CiC. Clinton didn't need to dress up in a military uniform like Hitler or Saddam or Kadaffi. Clinton didn't stand up during a State of The Union Address and lie like a dog to cause a war. Clinton didn't go to the UN and tell lie after lie.

Are we better off now, than we were 5 years ago? Is the Military in any better shape? Are there less Iraqis dying now, than there were under Saddam and is Iraq any better than it was three years ago? Is Our pResident learning?...HELL NO!

17. They took authorized money and stole money and used it to buy
coalition partners and professional soldiers at xx % more than a soldier gets paid.

But, the soldiers are the ones that are getting killed.
Do you think the professional soldiers lacked the right equipment and clothing?
