Did 1,868 US Troops Die For Islam?
If I am reading the news correctly, concerning Iraq's Constitution and Government, George W. Bush seems to have done the unthinkable in this war against islamic extremists. He has committed the lives of One Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Eight U.S. Soldiers, Marines, Navy and Air Force Personnel, as well as men and women from each state's National Guard and Reserves in the successful instillation of an Islamic State.

Let's be quite clear about what has happened. George W. Bush, by force of arms, has taken a secular state and turned it into a fundamentalist Islamic state and in so doing sacrificed the lives of almost two thousand US soldiers and the bodies of countless thousands more.

It is the Crusades in reverse.

1. Well if you think about it for a nano second
and we insist that they have elections, and if we insist that majority rules, and the majority are Shia, and almost all Shia want an islamic theocracy to govern them.....................its almost like, well, its fucking inevitable, isn't it?

3. What does a country expect from a man who could bankrupt
a catering company and cause an oil company to not find oil?

Love to watch the faithful spin this one.

5. Not too different from 50,000+ lives being sacrified
in southeast Asia so Vietnam could go communist.

7. But we didn't SPONSOR it going communist.
We sponsor the process by which Iraq goes islamist theocracy.

9. Oh, I agree with that.
The situations aren't exactly parallel, but the futility of it all is.

13. No, mainly they died for Haliburton profits
What kind of government Iraq wound up with was of no real concern to the Bushies.
