"Unseen war". They kill women and children.
Salon has an article called "Unseen War" on the front page today. The article is accompanied by a photo gallery of war images from Iraq. These are the images of war MSM is not showing, but many people should see and make sure others see them as well.

But first, take a look at this snippet from smirk's speech to the veterans yesterday:

"BUSH: The enemy, the terrorists are ruthless and brutal. They're fighting on behalf of a hateful ideology that despises everything America stands for.

Our enemies have no regard for human life. They're trying to hijack a great religion to justify a dark vision that rejects freedom and tolerance and dissent.

They have a strategy. And part of that strategy is they're trying to shake our will.

They kill the innocent. They kill women and children knowing that the images of their brutality will horrify civilized peoples.

Their goal is to drive nations into retreat so they can topple governments across the Middle East, establish Taliban-like regimes and turn that region into a launching pad for more attacks against our people.

In all their objectives, our enemies are trying to intimidate America and the free world. And in all their objectives, they will fail. "

As you view the images, if you choose to do so, keep these words in mind. "My enemy", that is to say Mr Bush and his administration, indeed have no regard for human life. They are ruthless and brutal, they do intend to topple governments across the Middle East, and they kill the innocent every day, they kill women and children knowing that the images of their brutality will horrify us. Everything Bush said about "terrorists" yesterday applies directly to him.

Link to gallery - WARNING. The images at Salon are really, really horrifying. But this is where freeptards tell you, as someone wrote on DU yesterday, "this is what's supposed to happen in war".

1. These photos will really shake you up.
I wonder how soon the war would end if all Americans saw these photos?

3. And no deaths *by* insurgents
as far as I can see. All these are people killed by the military - direct shots, cluster bombs, all that.
