6. Robertson
Per MSNBC, Chavez has emerged as one of the most outspoken critics of President Bush, accusing the United States of conspiring to topple his government and possibly backing plots to assassinate him. U.S. officials have called the accusations ridiculous.

Interesting, Guess the US did'nt think about Robertson calling for Chavez's assassination.

10. Texas oil companies are responsible for most
civil unrest, and opposition to Chavez. I would say his fears / claims are well founded.

7. I wonder how he would feel if someone called for his
assassination? This is real Christian like, isn't it? Kill everyone who doesn't agree with your point of view. I believe that is what the extremist Muslims do too.

17. Ya, he was gross enough, butt now he is downright vulgar.
I do feel sorry for those who get sucked into the religious fear and superstition. They actually stop thinking for themselves and thus "loose their soul"

12. It's hard to believe that there are still 16-20% of the poll voters that..
believe what Pat Robertson said is the correct action to take. There is a large segment of this country that truly is insane.

15. My remarks: Robertson, didn't Jesus teach us to
kill people with love and compassion? Maybe you should leave Jesus' Gospel to real Christians.

18. So what you're saying is: we now have radical clerics
issuing calls for assasination, in defense of our right-wing government?

Pat Robertson's been at the top of my shit list for thirteen years. As a naive, Midwestern teen, I could see through his bullshit. I'm sorry, but any member of the Christian Coalition is dead to me. They don't even exist, as far as I'm concerned.
