1. Now is the time to get into alternative energy stocks.
Even the Bushies are doing that.

3. not in 2000, but I bought an energy fund
a few years ago that's really doing well. Should I feel guilty profiting off of *? I'd rather the fund did badly & * was impeached, but we are where we are.

4. Dumped my entire 401k in energy heavy stocks right after 9/11...
But diversified last year. Couldn't take the guilt anymore.

7. same here
I had money in oil for awhile. However, with the increasing deaths in Iraq, etc. I found I could barely look myself in the mirror. So, I sold at a slight profit and walked away completely from the stock market. I'm now in CDs and I-bonds and money market savings account, all insured investments.

At least I don't feel like I am contributing to it now, which is fine with me.

GREED SUCKS!

11. No. How could I carry a "No Blood for Oil" sign at protests --
-- and then log on to see how my oil stocks were doing.

12. Teehee, teehee, I'm retired now
I know some will say it is blood money, but I participated in the capitalist system by selling my labor, and that got me nowhere! So I decided to try a different form of participation.
