I'm going to follow Pat Robertson's Logic |
|
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 01:39 PM by ck4829
According to Pat:
Hugo Chavez is a strong armed Dictator
But
Charles Taylor is a Democratically Elected President
Wait, never mind, I'm not going to follow Pat's logic, I'd probably need to inhale something that my religion forbids me from doing to see through Pat's eyes.

1. I'm not sure Pat's inhaling anything illegal. |
|
It just might be that his head is up his ass and he's admiring the the view.

Maybe Pat's squinty faced prayer (you have seen it, right) caused a blood vessel to burst in his brain or something, and hence he is crazy.

3. To Put A Different Spin On This.... |
|
Hypothetically speaking - let's say it's five, ten years from now & some radical cleric from another country has a stake in one of our elections. And let's say they thought it was stolen from the candidate they liked, the one they considered righteous.
And let's say this radical cleric mentioned that it would just be easier to assasinate this official.
Can you imagine the outrage? We'd go to war.
Pat Robertson is effectively declaring war on Chavez. I hope Chavez views Robertson as a nut job and doesn't think he is some one who really has any authority in this matter.

4. In England, they have just enacted laws that prohibt this sort of speech |
|
from radical clerics. They can be sent back to their own country for such rhetoric. It would be nice if this asshole could be sanctioned - since we can't kick him out of his own country.

5. It's quite simple really. |
|
Anyone he doesn't like needs to just STFU and go hide under in a hole. If they don't, they deserve to die.
People like Robertson and his 700 Club hypocrites and the zealot Christians do this crap on a case-by-case basis on whether or not they like him for whatever bullshit reason. It's why Clinton was the scum of the Earth for lying about a private affair and * is the second coming for lying about a war that has killed thousands of people.
There is no logic, you see. These people are just not the logical kind (or the Christian kind).

7. The Lord works in mysterious ways... |

you'll just have to trust that he speaks through Pat Roberston, when he tells you who deserves to live and die.
