The story behind Pat Robertson's Anti-Chavez Claims

As you all may know, Pat Robertson has called for the death of Hugo Chavez because he said he was using Venezuela as a launching pad for Communism and Islamic Extremism.

I have decided to check these claims out.

They are, as usual, RW Propaganda.

Claim 1 - Chavez funneled money to Al Qaeda.

"Juan Diaz Castillo, who had flown Venezuela's Presidential plane until he was kicked out of the Air Force and joined elements in Venezuela's radical opposition, made the spurious accusations last month from self-imposed exile Miami, saying that the money was disguised as humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and claiming that Ambassador Marquez had facilitated the deal."

The guy who made this claim is a RW Fascist. Hmm, should make you think.

Claim 2 - Chavez appointed a Hussein supporter to Deputy Director of the Identification and Immigration Directorate

And here is something very, very interesting that the RW'ers have not noted. Apparently Tareck el Aisammi is not authorized to give interviews (or to debate as to whether he was a supporter of the Hussein Regime) because the Anti-Chavez Forces abducted Tareck el-Aissami.

My spider sense tells me that some of these businessmen are hooking these terrorists up with equipment to try and overthrow Chavez.
