I Guess We Can Now Publicly Call for Someone's Assassination

Nothing has happened to Pat Robertson. Maybe we should start a new campaign too by using this on the Reich.

2. But no boobies or cuss words...I guess when you call for a assassination
it is alright if you don't show your breast or use cuss words...

4. Well, if you were arrested for calling for someone's Assassination
and prosecuted in a federal jurisdiction, you could sue under selective prosecution laws.

But if they just send the sherif over to hassle you and maybe prosecute you for menacing, disturbing the peace, whatever they can find, you would most likely be shit out of luck.

I don't suggest you try it - but it is tempting, isn't it?

5. Well....
One doesn't have to "call for an assassination" ... couldn't someone just call for people to pray for one? Or is that still too close?

Hell, I'm an atheist, but maybe I should start praying.

17. Hell, they can take your land for that now
I'm too lazy too look it up right now, but there is a federal law allowing seizure of anywhere drug use is tolerated.

6. Perhaps we could write our local representative
and ask him/her to recommend legislation that would make it legal to do so in public. That way we're not actually calling for anyone's assassination, but they'll get the point that we're getting pretty fed up with the state of our media (and country for that matter).

11. I wonder what kind of reach Chavez has. In a way, I think Robertson just
called for his own assasination.
