NOW Republicans try to Distance themselves from Brother Pat
after tolerating him for decades and using his 700 Club zombies as voting automatons, and kissing his fat pious ass, NOW they act all embarrassed and shocked at his comments.

fucking bozo hypocrites.

1. In a way that is a good thing
If they distance themselves and no longer use the 700 club as a campaign tool for the repuke candidates, Maybe, just MAYBE, the reich wing grip on religion will be loosened allowing some of the sheep to realize they have the power to vote for themselves and stop forfeiting it to the "CHURCH"

2. Pfft
How long did Pat's ostracization last after 911? They'll chide him today, share a scotch with him tomorrow.

6. I loved how
some writers compared his statements to those made by radical imams, both were condemning America, and saying it was our fault. Yet I can't seem to remember any "blame amerika furst libruls" saying ANYTHING like that after 9/11.

3. Read GregPalast.com for several articles about Pat Robertson's
amazing financial corruption. Including using money meant for Operation Blessing, a 700 Club Charity, for transporting equipment to his Emerald mine in Africa.

Danuta, a former host, said Robertson was reading the financial pages all the way to Africa and did not crack open the Bible once and other former employees confronted Robertson about using his Printing factory to print Republican material when 700 Club has non-profit status and Robertson told them that they didn't know the way the world worked.

One employee said he thought that was a strange answer for a Christian.

Don't lump all Christians together and I wish that there were some way to let his views know about where their money is going esp. donations that are supposed to go to help the poor.

4. Where? I hear nothing but hate talk on the radio.
Whenever I tune into any of the 700 club programs they all live and die by pat robertson.

7. They should not be allowed to distance themselves....
they should be forced to either outright reject or acccept his statements.

The CC will demand acceptance from the repubs through intimidation even if they are dead wrong, and no matter how obvious it is. Then sit back and watch the repubs sweat and contort.

But sadly it will take a leader from the opposition party to speak up, sooooooo......
