Plus, all my kids tell me that things are going great in Iraq and that the media doesn't tell America about the good stuff like teddy bear drops, building schools and the flower throws.

(excerpted from a C-Span phone call and only slightly exaggerated).

I heard a similar call to Rush the other day... Seems to be a trend. Multiple kids trump one. The bullshit coming from the right is deafening.

1. Not only the 15 kids in the Army but their younger ones are...
waiting in the wings to sign up and can't wait to get to Iraq.

2. Most folks that hear this type of rhetoric from the right, know
that it is shit with sour grapes.

This only plays well to the hard right wing idiots.

Caller says: "Unnnnh uh, Germany!"

"And where is son B stationed?"

Caller: "Ummmm. I can't tell you!"

This shit is getting insulting it's so bad.

20. I Heard That Liar
I had zero doubt that the caller was making that up. The kicker was how long he paused before he came up with "I can't tell you." And, that's a lie, because if it was that secret, his son couldn't tell him and the answer he would have is "I don't know, it's classified."

Guy calls in on a long distance call to a national show and lies blatantly. What a tool.

23. I wish I had recorded that segment.
A seriously lonnnnng pause.... "I can't tell you."

Poor guy wasn't expecting to have to elaborate his lie.

25. "I can't tell you." Maybe the caller was such a poor parent...
...he/she really couldn't tell you since they don't keep in touch. But saying "My child, with whom I haven't spoken for years due to our estrange relationship, is in the Army and Cindy doesn't speak for me!" wouldn't have had the same effect.

5. It reminds me of Gary Qualls.
"My older son already died in Iraq, and now I can't wait to send my other son!"

What is WRONG with these people?

14. Didn't he turn out to be a dumb ass
He's bashing Cindy because of Michael Moore and other groups.
He is raising his own cannon fodder. I hope he is just distraught, because otherwise he is goofy or on the neocon payroll.

8. Well I'm glad this parent has 15 kids serving in Iraq
because then we won't need a draft and when my son is of age he won't have to go fight in an illegal war that my family has never supported.

9. cue up clip: Iraqi girls with shiny new pencils..(applause)
of course those girls are too afraid to actually GO to school these days, and since the new constitution has relegated them to 4thclass status for their lifetimes, school will be for boys again:(

10. "Fifteen of my kids?"
Does that mean the caller has more than 15 kids? Like 20 maybe? If they are going to make up stuff like this at least they should try to be more believable. :eyes:

"The WMD are east, west, north and south of baghdad", "the war will be over in a matter of days", "Bush cares", etc.

16. Where were all these parents before Cindy gained national
attention? Who doesn't see through this crap? The bushies pull this crap every time Jr. gets in trouble with his fucked up policies. Same thing when he was trying to sell his tax giveaway to the richest, pull out some working class family, or a single mom who would benefit from his tax scheme. It stinks and NO one should fall for it. Morans!

18. No worries, it's also transparent and shallow ...
When the war was going swimmingly (within the first year after invasion), Bush-Co. could do NO wrong. NOW people are hurting both emotionally and financially. All the B.S. disinformation and Rove approved lies will NO longer be accepted on blind faith by anyone with the IQ above a box of rocks.

Drip drip drip ... I have confidence that they will soon GO DOWN ... even without our shameful gutless wonder national representatives (who should be shouting from the rafters right now?!?) ;)

A little along the lines of a post-natal abortion.
