It's now or never...Join us in Crawford: THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!
This is it, folks. After this weekend, it will all be, quite literally, history.

Come to Camp Casey for the most amazing civics lesson you will ever have an opportunity to enjoy. Let's not forget that this all started when one hurt mom and a bunch of veterans headed up a country road on a mission for peace. They didn't know where they would sleep or how they would survive the elements. They just went.

And what has sprung up on that Texas road is a monument to all that is good and right in the soul of the American spirit.

Give yourself a break and make whatever sacrifice necessary to be out in the ditches this weekend.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!

5. I wish the protest didn't
have to end in Crawford, that we could keep rotating people in & out & keep it going... as soon as everyone goes home, it will all be forgotten & the rest of the country will get back to more important things, like Michael Jackson... Hopefully there will at least be enough protests throughout the country to keep the momentum -- I doubt they will get as much press coverage though... :(

9. There is a HUGE rally/march in DC after this
see the link in my signature line...

:woohoo:

We will NOT lose momentum!

Find a group of 5 people in your area and pick a street corner and go there once a week for an hour with signs. Don't let this movement falter!

Maybe we can end this war if we never stop protesting. But if we stop, we have NO chance of ending it and exposing the Truth.

11. 200 thousands (at the very least) or more in this Canadian city
Edited on Wed Aug-24-05 10:03 AM by Amonester
I live in (we protested against the war together in the deep freeze).

We sure are watching you and loving you all. Our best thoughts and highest hopes are with you all the way every single minute of your real noble cause, just like - or maybe even more like - they were during Vietnam's quagmire.

A majority of citizens of this country are watching and supporting you also. I'd even go as far as saying a big majority of the people of the world do too without any doubt in my mind!

May your employee-on-vacation (!) listen to you soon (or fire him!) :)

13. Did Joan Baez leave or is she waiting to at least meet Cindy?
It would be a shame if Cindy didn't get to meet the Queen Of Peace; I'm sure Cindy would benefit from meeting Joan.

18. Wow, that's great. I hope she and Cindy get to have very long
private talks because I think Joan can comfort Cindy like no one else could.
