Creative use of RICO laws: election fraud & corporate warmongering?
The Mariani lawsuit makes me wonder if this isn't a potentially effective route to go after election rigging and the corporations who lobbied for and benefited (or thought they would) from the invasion of Iraq.

On both issues, there is a conspiracy between business and government, in one case, to deprive us of our civil rights, and in the other to violate international law including the Geneva Convention.

The courts seem to be less susceptible to the right wing propaganda machine and intimidation, and even fairly conservative judges have a hard time dismissing substantive evidence, which is readily available on election rigging and could be uncovered through discovery on the illegal warmongering.
