BUSH: Grounds for Impeachment? not likely, however... |
|
As american soldiers are dying amidst a civil war in Iraq for some two-and-one-half-years later. If such gross malfeasance in office is not a "high crime" under the Constitution, then nothing is.
GEORGE BUSH SHOULD BE TRIED FOR WAR CRIMES AND THAT IS A FACT BECAUSE THIS REPUBLICAN CONGRESS WILL NEVER IMPEACH HIM.
Supporters of the Bush policy really don't care why we invaded Iraq, and pointing out the obvious holes in the "intelligence" will have no effect on them. When Bush links 9/11 and Iraq in his speeches, he is simply saying what his supporters already believe: we had to respond militarily. The reasons given and the target, Iraq, were simply matters of convenience. If Iraq had the largest peanut farms in the world do you think Bushco still would have invaded?
The only way to change minds on the conservative side is to demonstrate that we are weaker now because the war in Iraq has run our volunteer force into the ground, and that the rest of the "Axis of Evil" knows it.

1. There are plenty of grounds for impeachment |
|
But with Republicans controlling Congress, there will be no action. That's why we must fight hard in the '06 elections to win control so that Bush will be held responsible.
