Time Magazine reports 880 JULY murders in Baghdad....

Here is a fascinating article in the new Time magazine (8-29-05) that reports there were 880 separate murders in Baghdad in July alone. These 880 do not include the deaths from war.

For context - Baghdad is 5 million and NYC is 8 million and had 571 homicides in the entire year of 2004.
