Are you saying that Krugman is wrong sometimes? Can you give an example?
Thanks.

Buddy Hackett's face superimposed on John Kerry. Supposedly Kerry's campaign was distributing fliers in NYCity with this photo of John and John in an appeal to garner anti-war voters. It was not widely reported and I do not know what the significance of the photoshop is--other than it is sort of funny. ;-)

6. Yeah, WE have to worry about Krugman checking his facts |
|
Let us concern ourselves with the "facts" we get from selected presidents....

That about nails down the situation - covering up corruption with more corruption.

5. That was a very forceful editorial |
|
The most interesting pieces I think were these:
"Literally before the dust had settled, Bush administration officials began trying to use 9/11 to justify an attack on Iraq. Gen. Wesley Clark says that he received calls on Sept. 11 from "people around the White House" urging him to link that assault to Saddam Hussein."
<snip>
"So the Iraq hawks set out to corrupt the process of intelligence assessment. On one side, nobody was held accountable for the failure to predict or prevent 9/11; on the other side, top intelligence officials were expected to support the case for an Iraq war."
<end snip>
Implicit connection concerning 9/11 motives. Drip, drip, drip.

Did you see MWO today? They picked up the Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon from Sunday. Scroll down to see it or look here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=37161

10. Actually, the Roberts quote is different |
|
Sen. Roberts is concerned that the CIA was leaking information in an attempt to discredit Chimpy:
"What concerns me most," he says, is "what appears to be a campaign of press leaks by the C.I.A. in an effort to discredit the president."
But you gotta love the headline to the column:
"Pattern of Corruption"
I've been calling it the corrupt Bush administration for years now. Nice to see the "c" word picked up nationally. Hope it sticks to these bastards like velcro.
