Scarborough: "If it's Hagel vs. Hillary in '08, I vote for Hillary"
While I welcome the vote of another white male conservative, this does make me think that if people on the Right start praising Hillary Clinton maybe there is something wrong with her.

4. I think you hit the nail on the head
In that kind of a matchup, I might actually go for HAGEL.

14. Hagel voted for IWR, too
So he gets a pass on that issue, but not Hillary? How does that make sense?

3. I'm sensing love-hate feelings in the RW about Hillary
They trash her on the one hand then turn around and talk about her being a shoe-in if basicly any republican runs for president.

7. We will see come 2008 who he really supports
Remember when Bill O'Reilly said that if no WMDs were found, he'd not only NEVER trust the Bush admin again, but also ENDORSE the Democratic presidential candidate? Guess if he ever did.

10. And now... the swift-boating of Senator Hagel begins....
First they'll start with the "I'd rather vote for Hillary" comparisons... then they'll start questioning his patriotism, slime his service record, and show how liberal he is in his voting record. All because he has the nerve to speak the truth. :eyes:

18. This is huge!
Whatever you think of Hagel's other politics, you have to give him credit for sticking up for the truth whilst in the den of vipers.

The antiwar crowd only gets more powerful as it incorporates people from many parts of the political spectrum.

http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?articleid=7063

"We at Antiwar.com, while giving antiwar voices on the left their just due, have always made a special point of highlighting conservative opposition to this war, seeing it as a measure of the broadness of the antiwar movement, and a key element of its strength. We'll know the troops are coming home when many of the loudest voices calling for their prompt return are Republicans. We aren't quite there yet – but we're getting there. And that is good news indeed."
