This is the kind of brain-washed moran we're up against
I was going to highlight the worst parts but found the whole thing needed to be highlighted!

Re Fox News and Shepard Smith

To:
President George Bush

August 24, 2005

Dear Mr. President

I watched your speech today form Idaho and it was absolutely outstanding, and I was very impressed by you as always. and as I am aware as much as we observe freedom of speech in our country Shepard Smith came out on Fox News with in a few hours of your speech and in using the power of influence of the media to imply that the polls are suggesting that your status in not favorable in the same context after talking about your speech today, thus implanting that view into the minds of the viewers, and I feel that this is treasonous, and it really pisses me off. Is there not anything we can do to get our American Networks to support you. It use to be that the news networks were extremely respectful of the position of the President of the United States, and they did not let there personal beliefs spin the truth even if they personally did not agree. I personally find this completely disgusting, and I shall write them a letter as well. I feel you have the right to be angry with there behavior as am I am, as this not helping our country but only serving to divide it. I am suggesting that it is because of this behavior in the media that is not helping you, and is causing much of the problems you have been experiencing with the popularity issue. If the News Media were going to be fair to you then they should have conducted a new poll after the people had been given a chance to digest your speech, and then reported the poll results. although I must say that I do not believe in poll results anyway and it has little influence where I am concerned but there many other people who believe in what the news is telling them and when they even make subtle suggestion's about you and your character they are not benefiting your cause, or being good Americans in my view.
May God continue to bless you and our country.

La Junta , CO

You cannot talk to these people, they are true followers, Bush is like a God to them.

No matter what he does or says they will always support him, people like this are the danger to this country, not some insurgent who is
thousands of miles away.

This is the same kind of true believer that has followed all dictators throughout human history, and while I don't advocate death,
for people like this I think I can make an exception.

If someone was saying this about a Dem president in office, I would be equally concerned. And, this person obviously was asleep during the Clinton years. I clearly remember the news saying all sorts of unfavorable things about him.
