The 'culture of death'
Yesterday at the rally in Idaho, the lady with all her sons in Iraq was saying something about how glorious it would be to die for something you believe in. I'm getting sick of this crap. What is this - feudal Japan? As George Patton said (anyone care to challenge his patriotism?), "No one ever won a war by dieing for his country." How different is this dieing for your country stuff than suicide bombers dieing for Allah or whatever they claim to be fighting for? Just something to think about. . . . . . . . .

1. Good one
It's so pathetic to hear her say that, when it's obvious she has no idea what the loss feels like; she hasn't lost anybody there. Yet. What a fluffy-headed fool. Deserves what she gets, that one. Glory? Die for something you believe in? Do the Iraqi civilians share in that glory, or did they die for us TOO? Fool.
